Studio Policies for Fall Dance Classes

Registration Fee:  An annual registration fee of $45.00 for first student, $10.00 each additional student in the same family not to exceed $65.00 is due at time of registration for fall classes.  In addition to the registration fee, the first months tuition is also due at the time of registration. 

Tuition Information: Monthly tuition is based on the number of dance weeks (36) in the year, not the number of weeks/dance days in a month. There are no reductions made for absenteeism. If your child cannot attend his/her regular class because of an emergency or illness, a make up class can be scheduled.  Tuition is calculated by the number of hours your dancer/family dance in a week.  See the tuition scale below. 

Tuition Payment: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. After the 5th, there will be a $15 late charge automatically added to your account. If tuition is not paid in full by the 15th of each month, an additional $25 charge will be added to the total amount owed. Failure to pay by the 15th may result in dismissal of the student from his/her class. If you have any concerns about your account, please contact Ms Sheila J by phone or email

Private/Duet/Trio Lessons: Payment for private/duet/trio lessons for each month are to be made at the beginning of each month. Unlike monthly tuition, private/duet/trio lessons are based on the number of days in a month. If student fails to show up for a private lesson without notifying the studio, no credit for that class will be issued. If for any reason the instructor must cancel, a credit will be issued for the missed class and applied to a future lesson. Cost for lessons are: Private $35.00 for each 1/2 hour, Duets $20.00 per 1/2 hour per student, and Trios $18.00 per 1/2 hour per student.

Returned Checks: A returned check fee of $25 will be charged to your account if your check is returned. Two (2) or more returned checks on the same account will result in the studio being unable to accept payments in a check form.

Costume Fee: A non-refundable recital costume fee of $75 per costume is due by January 2nd for our Recreational dance students.  

Withdraw Policy:  We understand that from time to time circumstances change, and if for any reason you need to withdraw from our dance studio, a 30 day written request to withdraw is required.  A withdraw form is available at the front desk.  This will stop any charges after the 30 day period.  

Inclement Weather Closings: Dance Depot doesn't always follow CCPS weather dismissals and closings. An email will be sent and all social media accounts will be updated with any closing information at the studio.  Tuition adjustments aren't made for any canceled classes due to inclement weather.   

2020/2021 Dance Tuition Scale: For families you simply add the total hours together for your family tuition.
