LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation. Contemporary dance is an organic, expressive style where the dancers explore freedom of movement, allowing their bodies to freely express their innermost feelings and tell stories. The movement style ranges from sharp and fast to gooey and fluid and is performed to a wide range of music.   Music used for lyrical dance is typically emotionally charged and expressive. The lyrics of the chosen song serve as inspiration for the dancers' movements and expressions. Movements in lyrical dance are characterized by fluidity and grace, with the dancer flowing seamlessly from one move to another, holding finishing steps as long as possible. Leaps are exceptionally high and soaring, and turns are fluid and continuous. Ballet technique is essential for Lyrical dance.
TAP
Tap differs from other forms of dance most basically in the emphasis on footwork. Correct body alignment, port de bras, and styling are as important to the tap dancer as to the ballet or modern dancer. Among the advantages of the study of tap are the development of coordination of rhythm, timing and phrasing.

Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and it provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Early ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, turnout, terminology and ballet positions. Dancers will begin class at the barre, then move to center floor work and close the class with across the floor combinations. Ballet is the most disciplined and important form of dance for all serious dancers. Each level in the ballet series builds on technique and skill

Tumbling
Tumbling and Acrobatic skills are taught by repetitious exercise and drill. A good warm-up is very important to help loosen the muscles as to avoid injury. Forward rolls, backwards rolls, head stands, and back bends are taught first. Once these skills are mastered then students are taught more advanced tricks and tumbling passes such as front and back handsprings side, back and front ariels.

JAZZ
Jazz dance is a combination of many different styles of dance. It is an American dance style that developed from African and Caribbean cultures. Classes include stretching, body isolations and combinations of rhythmic and percussive movements. Dancers will develop turn, leap and extension technique.
HIP HOP
Hip-hop dance is a unique and exciting style of street dance that is most commonly performed to hip-hop music. Hip-hop dance is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. Through its three main styles of popping, locking, and breaking, hip-hop dance has evolved into one of the most popular and influential styles of dance.
